Physical & Chemical Properties
Paint Grade Barite Powder is a white, odorless, and non-toxic powder with stable chemical properties. It is insoluble in water, soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid, and slightly soluble in boiling hydrochloric acid. Under high-temperature conditions in the presence of carbon, it can be reduced to barium sulfide. The material exhibits excellent chemical stability and does not discolor when exposed to hydrogen sulfide or other atmospheric gases.
